This is the most important vocational training event in Latin America and the Caribbean, bringing together representatives of more than 60 national agencies specializing in vocational training and human resource development, representatives of governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations.
The event will be held in the Palacio Municipal de IFEMA MADRID, Spain, from 16 to 18 November 2021.
The Technical Committee Meeting of ILO/Cinterfor (TCM) is an instance foreseen since its constitution (1963), which meets every two years, and in which the activity report of the previous biennium is considered, as well as the financial situation of the Cinterfor and the proposed work plan for the following biennium.
Representatives of vocational training from governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations and national institutions specialized in training and human resources development, members of the ILO/Cinterfor network, participate in the meeting.
The 45th TCM is sponsored by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) and the State Foundation for Employment Training (FUNDAE), taking place at a time of partial reactivation of global mobility, and the consequent need to adapt to this new reality brought by Covid-19.
In this scenario, we propose a hybrid meeting where the participation of the delegations can be in person, in Madrid, or from their respective countries using information and communication technologies, offering the possibility of live participation to a greater number of people from the region and the world.
The meeting is structured in the following blocks:
- Training policies for recovery and productive transformation.
- Skills gaps, anticipation of training demands and recognition of prior learning.
- Innovation and inclusion in Quality Learning.
- The role of vocational training in the digital transformation.
- Social dialogue and vocational training.
At the same time, the International Training for Employment Fair will take place, which proposes conferences to address the central themes on the role and challenges of training for employment and to serve as a platform to publicise the training proposals and good practices that will enable these challenges to be successfully met.
Also, there will be space for exhibitions, where a large number of public and private exhibitors, companies, among others, will share their products, services and developed solutions.
The entire agenda will take place at the Palacio Municipal de FEMA MADRID.
Registration to participate virtually will be available shortly.
